Job Description
We are seeking a Mid-Level Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage various construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction processes, effective project management skills, and the ability to collaborate with a team of contractors, architects, and engineers. This role will require managing project timelines, budgets, resources, and ensuring quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution:
Coordinate project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and on-budget project delivery.
Prepare and manage project documentation, contracts, and change orders.
Team Management:
Oversee subcontractors, vendors, and construction teams, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
Ensure all team members follow safety protocols and company policies.
Budget & Cost Control:
Develop and maintain project budgets, monitor expenses, and prepare cost reports.
Manage procurement and ordering of materials and equipment.
Risk Management:
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
Resolve project-related issues promptly and effectively.
Quality Control:
Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards and meets all regulatory requirements.
Conduct site inspections to verify the quality of construction and adherence to plans.
Communication & Stakeholder Management:
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
Provide regular updates to senior management, clients, and other stakeholders on project progress.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
5-8 years of experience in construction project management or related roles.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
Proficient in project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project).
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification.
Experience in [specific type of construction, e.g., oil & gas, Heavy industrial, transportation or infrastructure projects
